How about setting up a forum for different types of solutions that is indexed to the DSS? For example you could have Encryption - 3.4, etc and have sub-forums broken down by platform. I know I spend a lot of time searching for different solutions to meet my clients needs and budgets. You might even setup polls for each solution where people can rank the solution.
